Thanks to Existentialism Series, 2010

Concept:

These series of artworks are about exploring and understanding the limitations and oppression of human, when it comes to certain circumstances, while we have no controls over our selves, how people present one side of themselves by dressing up colourful clothes.
Sometimes, as our bodies are not linked mentally and physically, our soul has automatically rejected the own will of our body. Human body is a kind of restriction which has lead to an inconsistency of our soul and body.
However, at the same time, we always try to put on a mask and act oppositely which forms a new self that traps our souls within. The rules of the world define the limitations of freedom and rights. Yet, we choose to alter our own mind in order to cope with the regulations.

作品創作的意義在於探討人的被限制及抑壓, 在身不由己的狀態下, 人們如何利用不同色彩斑斕的衣服去角色扮演表面的一個自己。
我們的靈魂有時已拒絕自己隨機性的身體, 因為肉體和精神有時並不是真的配合, 我們的肉體有時是一種限制令我們的精神不能夠達至某一境界,我們的精神與肉體因此不能結合。
但是, 與此同時 ,我們卻在我們這樣的身體上再加上一層虛偽的面孔及穿上一套代表不同性格但不是自己的衣服,造成另一道身體, 把精神雙重地困在裡頭。外面世界的遊戲規則為我們定出自由/權利的限制, 我們自己為了配合遊戲定出圍困及忘記自我的限制。
