這是一個非個人的無眠時期。
由於是非個人的關係, 把所有人都隱藏在畫面的背後, 留下一片黑色, 這是純粹的。 首次被一個小市集及小社會的雛形(在二零一二年的萬人在政府總部集會, 反國民教育運動) 所震撼。我發現很多組織的開始是很純粹的, 為的是能夠發表自由意思, 但願以小聚大, 可以在非全民主的社會改變不公的政策。 在此, 我記錄了由學生發起的兩次大型反國教運動, 一次是在政府總會, 另外一之是在中文大學的百萬大道。 這一次, 全城無眠了。 |
It was a non-personal sleepless period.
Since it was not a personal matter, all the participants were hidden on the backside of the painting, remaining a piece of blackness, pure blackness. It was the first time that I was shocked by the miniature of a community. (More than ten thousand citizens gathered outside the government headquarters in 2012, protesting against the Moral and National Education.). I figured that the starting point of most of the organisations is simple - gathering for the freedom of speech, hoping to change the unjust policy by bringing people together in a not totally democratic society. Here, I recorded two massive anti-national education rallies, one at government headquarters and another at Chinese University. At that time the whole city was sleepless. |
